Hello, I'm Naomi, a food photographer, recipe developer, and professional maker of unnecessary dishes.
I create publication-ready content for food bloggers, brands, publishers, and hospitality businesses. That might mean developing and photographing an exclusive recipe, recreating a clients recipe in my studio, or spending the day capturing the story of a restaurant, bakery, food producer, or chef.
What makes my work a little different is that I understand food from both sides of the camera. Before a recipe ever reaches my lens, I'm thinking about how it cooks, how it tastes, how it should be styled, and most importantly, whether a real person would actually want to make it. With a lifetime of cooking and baking experience and years spent studying photography, styling, and visual storytelling, I create images that feel both beautiful and believable.
Over the years, I've developed, tested, photographed, and delivered hundreds of recipes for clients across the country and internationally. Some appear under my name, many appear behind the scenes under someone else's. That's the nature of this business, and honestly, I'm perfectly happy letting the food be the star.
When I'm not in the studio, you'll usually find me experimenting in the kitchen, singing with several choirs, on an adventure, planning my next one, or explaining to my family why there are six different slices of cake on the counter and no one is allowed to eat them yet.
